Service Desk/Desktop Support Engineer – Doncaster/Remote – £35,000 per annum

TrinI.T. Talent are looking for a Service Desk/Desktop Support Engineer to join our customers team based in Doncaster. This will be a mixture of onsite work in Doncaster and Remote working. This is a permanent position paying up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Essential

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong experience demonstrating desktop support experience
  • Exposure to an ITIL based environment and understanding of ITIL methodology
  • Experience in liaising with employees at all levels including board level.
  • Microsoft Windows 10 configuring and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Office 2016/365 knowledge
  • Microsoft Exchange Online mailbox administration
  • Microsoft ActiveRoles user and computer administration
  • General Network administration and troubleshooting, TCP/IP and WAN/ LAN /Wi-Fi
  • Remote Access / Mobility & VPN technologies
  • Citrix ICA clients administration & troubleshooting
  • iPhone & iPad configuration & support

Technical

  • Resolve technical incidents as allocated and escalated
  • Ensure SLA targets are achieved and working to reduce SLA target times
  • Report on progress of incidents and update relevant service management tools
  • Ensure relevant technical documentation is appropriately maintained and available
  • Provide full support of hardware and software

Customer Service

  • Providing excellent customer service to all users at all times
  • Managing customer expectation by ensuring the user is kept up to date on the status of tickets
  • Take ownership of tickets to resolution including all escalated and tickets passed to 3rd parties
