Calypso Techno Functional Consultant – London/Remote – Outside Scope of IR35
TrinIT Talent are looking for a Calypso Techno Functional Consultant to come on board for a 12 month contract based remotely with 1 day a week on site in London. This role falls Out of Scope of IR35 and is paying £500 per day.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Configure Calypso modules and workflows across trading, risk, collateral, settlement, confirmations, accounting, and reporting.
Develop custom extensions and integrations using Calypso APIs, Java, FPML, FIX, XML/JSON, REST/SOAP, SWIFT and middleware platforms.
Perform system, integration, UAT, and performance testing; support production cutovers, incident troubleshooting, and post–go-live stabilization.
Drive data migration, ETL mapping, reconciliation, and batch/EOD process optimisation to enable high-throughput trading operations.
Produce operational and technical documentation, runbooks, solution designs, and provide user training and knowledge transfer.
Utilise strong SQL/database skills (Oracle/PostgreSQL), Unix/Linux scripting, and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle) for delivery and automation.
Bring hands-on experience across Calypso implementations, upgrades, customisation, patching, and performance tuning within capital markets environments.
