Agile Project Manager/Delivery Manager
Agile Project Manager/Delivery Manager – Remote – Agile/Scrum/Kanban
TrinIT Talent are looking for an Agile Project Manager/Delivery Manager to join our customers team. This is a permanent position paying up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
Main areas of responsibility
- Understand the key drivers of our transformation strategy to ensure developments are aligned
- Work with project teams and product owners to ensure sufficient collaboration and alignment of Dependent work across multiple departments is successfully managed.
- Use Agile project management approaches and techniques to control and manage project tasks to achieve goals.
- Mentor and coach teams and individuals in Agile delivery, facilitating the integration and optimisation of best practices within the teams to enhance practices, quality and output.
- Organise and run team's ways of working around road mapping, forward planning, monitoring and reporting to PMO and stakeholders.
- Lead on the delivery and management of the efficient flow of work through the teams and identification of risks, issues and dependencies.
- Identify and help in the removal of barriers that are slowing down team acceleration.
- Ensure all work packages assigned to the teams are understood, prioritised and clearly documented.
- Schedule, lead and deliver positive change through retrospective meetings with product users, product owners, team members, and other key stakeholders.
- Enable teams to monitor progress within and across sprints using effective reporting and metrics including velocity, burndown etc.
- Provide clear and concise reporting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders where required.
Essential Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively at all levels, engaging and empowering individuals and teams to take appropriate responsibility.
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate others and create strong working relationships with strong stakeholder engagement
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Experience resolving conflicts – the ability to identify and address conflicts promptly, finding effective solutions to support project and development progress.
- Ability to understand core business processes and identify solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
